Remembering Srebrenica (Scotland) receives Scottish Government grant to tackle prejudice and hate crime

Remembering Srebrenica (Scotland) is delighted to have been awarded £75,000 from the Scottish Government’s Equality Budget.


The Scottish charity, which promotes community cohesion and the challenging of hate crime, was one of 200 projects supported by the £20 million Fund.


Speaking in response to the funding Remembering Srebrenica (Scotland), Chair The Very Rev Dr Lorna Hood OBE said,


“We are delighted that Scottish Ministers have recognised the work of Remembering Srebrenica (Scotland) through this award. This will enable us to continue to tackle prejudice and intolerance in our communities using the “Lessons of Srebrenica” programme and our bespoke Scottish Education Programme.”
