The group took to the city’s Albert Square on Saturday 11 July – Srebrenica Memorial Day – and handed white roses to passers-by in remembrance of the 8,372 Bosnian Muslim men and boys who were systematically murdered in the 1995 genocide.
Amna Abdullatif, Jamila Kossar, Aisha Mirza, Farah Anwar-Bawany, Ali Raza Ilyas, Yusuf Tai and Sairah Yassir all took part in the event and were filmed by video maker Tasneem Albarazi.
