As part of the 25th anniversary UK Srebrenica commemoration, this event aimed to discuss the progress that has been made, the ongoing battle with genocide denialism and how we move forward from here. Joining Remembering Srebrenica in this discussion were Dr. David Pettigrew (Professor of Philosophy at SCSU, member of the Steering Committee of the Yale University Genocide Studies Program), Jasmin Mujanovic Ph.D (Political Scientist and analyst of Southeast European affairs), Ida Sefer (co-founder of BiH Diasporic Conference. President of Bosnian American Genocide Institute and Education Centre), Aleksandar Brezar (Journalist and Translator), and Almasa Salihovic (Genocide Survivor from Srebrenica and activist on genocide education).
