Councillor Noordad Aziz of Hyndburn Borough Council and Remembering Srebrenica UK’s North West Board member and Community Champion has been a tireless and committed supporter of the charity in the North West.
On 16 October 2019, Noordad spoke at neighbouring Burnley Council encouraging councillors to support the work of Remembering Srebrenica UK and to mark the 25th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide in July 2020.
We are grateful to Noordad for his dedication to ensure that we learn the lessons from the past to build a better society.
