“On this, the 18th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, I offer my deepest sympathy to the bereaved and those who lost their loved ones during this horrific episode.
It is vital that the appalling events which took place in Srebrenica are not forgotten and they should not be denied. We must remember them to prevent such atrocities from taking place again and that is why the work of Remembering Srebrenica is so important and why I fully support them in this regard.”
