Bearing Witness – From Blackburn to Bosnia

In May 2015, pupils and teachers from Witton Park Academy, in Blackburn, travelled to Bosnia-Herzegovina on our ‘Lessons from Srebrenica’ programme of educational visits to witness at first-hand the testimony of survivors and Mothers who lost loved ones in the Srebrenica genocide. Here, they give their accounts of the experience – filmed at the Srebrenica-Potočari Memorial Complex – where some 6,000 genocide victims have now been laid to rest.
