The delegation comprised of members of the Community Foundation, who met survivors of the genocide and Mothers who lost loved ones in the atrocity. They also learned more about the vital work of the International Commission for Missing Persons (ICMP) in reuniting families with the remains of loved ones.
They returned to the UK to begin planning their pledges for activities and memorial community action events in their communities aimed at raising awareness of the genocide and challenging hatred.
