UK National Srebrenica Memorial Event 2026
On Monday 13 July 2026, 700 people gathered at Church House, Westminster, for the UK National Srebrenica Memorial Ceremony, marking the 31st anniversary of the genocide.
Birmingham marks the International Day of Reflection and Commemoration
Birmingham City council illuminated the Library of Birmingham in green and white overnight on 10–11 July 2026 to mark the UN International Day of Reflection and Commemoration of the 1995 Genocide in Srebrenica.
West Midlands Remembering Srebrenica Memorial Breakfast
Hosted by North Staffordshire YMCA, Remembering Srebrenica West Midlands Board held a moving Srebrenica memorial breakfast in Stoke-on-Trent on 8th July 2026.
London Peace Walk to Remember Srebrenica – 31st Anniversary Commemoration
Now in its ninth year, the Peace Walk has become a significant act of remembrance led by the Bosnian diaspora in London and the South East, bringing communities together to honour the victims of the Srebrenica genocide and stand in solidarity with survivors and their families.
Remembering Srebrenica Community Day
Community Day in Newcastle-under-Lyme with a number of art and craft workshops such as kite-making, poem writing, tile painting, etc. This is a family event to allow people to share their messages of peace and remembrance.
Stockport Memorial Event
