Prof. Wendy Powers, Principal of University College, and the Revd Gavin Wort, Lead Chaplain, invite you to join them for an interfaith commemorative event marking Remembering Srebrenica Memorial Week at 6.30pm on Sun. 3rd July 2022 at Durham Castle.

The ceremony will include readings, poems, prayers and silence as well as the raising of the Remembering Srebrenica flag above the Castle Keep. Elvedin Hopovac, a young Bosnian living in the North East, will share the story of his parents’ experiences during the Bosnian War. Following the ceremony, light refreshments will be served.
